Mazzei Siepi 2021

Siepi 2021 is a powerful yet refined Super Tuscan blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Sangiovese from the Mazzei family’s historic estate. Deep ruby-purple in color, it opens with aromas of blackberry, dark cherry, espresso, balsamic glaze, and sandalwood. The palate is opulent and layered, offering rich black fruit, dark chocolate, and hints of bitter citrus and spice. Merlot brings plushness and depth, while Sangiovese adds structure and vibrant acidity. Polished tannins and subtle oak notes (nutmeg, mocha) lead to a long, elegant finish.
