Umberto Cesari Tauleto

This stylish, firmly-structured Sangiovese blend, produced only in the best growing years, matures at length in Allier oak barrels. Tauleto is a dialect term applied by local farmers to a plot with abundant water resources. The springs running under the Sangiovese in the Tauleto vineyard contribute to minimising water stress in the vines. To make Tauleto, Umberto Cesari recovered the Uva Longanesi, a nearly-forgotten native grape.
