Altos Las Hormigas Malbec Reserve

The Malbec Riserva from Altos Las Hormigas has an intense red color with light purple hues. Its aromatic profile is fresh and complex with notes of plum and cassis, orange peel and pepper, and some balsamic and undergrowth nuances. On the palate, it is juicy and mineral. It has a good body and a marked acidic streak. The tannins are ripe and well-integrated. The finish is long and fruity. Red meat and mature cheeses are the best pairings for this excellent, and great-value Argentine Malbec.
