Langhe Riesling Rigadin Pelissero 2024

Rigadin 2024 is a structured, aromatic Riesling from Pelissero’s high-altitude Ferrere vineyard in Treiso. Grown at 400 meters on a windy, north-facing slope, the wine benefits from slow ripening and enhanced complexity. Pale yellow-green in color with brilliant reflections, it opens with layered aromas of honey, flint, butter, and tobacco, alongside fruity notes of apricot, pear, lemon, and grapefruit. Herbal hints of thyme, sage, nettle, and hawthorn add depth. On the palate, it’s savory and full-bodied, with vibrant acidity and a distinct mineral edge from Langhe’s marine-origin soils.
