The 2023 Munfrina Dolcetto d’Alba from Pelissero is a vibrant, expressive red crafted from 100% Dolcetto grown in Treiso’s Ferrere vineyard. Brilliant purple-red in color, it opens with aromas of fresh red cherry, wild berries, and subtle floral notes. On the palate, it’s juicy and balanced, with soft tannins, lively acidity, and a pleasant sapidity. A short maceration and stainless steel aging preserve its freshness and varietal purity. The finish is clean and slightly bitter, with a classic almond note that defines traditional Dolcetto.
