Domaine de Bila-Haut Occultum Lapidem Blanc

Hidden stone' is a blend of Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris and Vermentino, from mainly gneiss soil vineyards around the area of Latour de France. Following whole bunch pressing, part of the must is fermented in vats and part in 600 litre demi-muids barrels, without malolactic fermentation. 9 months ageing in vats and some new barrels deliver this complex beauty, full of stone fruit, nutty and floral aromas, with a round Grenache Blanc palate that is refreshed by Vermentino's acidity.
